It felt like a promo in the end
It’s nice to hear about the details of this cult, or not cult. But Jonathan’s constant reminder that he’s portraying both sides to be unbiased is the most farfetched part of the podcast. It’s clear by the end of the ninth episode that he cares more about honoring Rama rather than the whole story. The penultimate episode attempts to assuage a feeling of empathy for Rama. You almost forget the accusations of a cult or sexual assault. In the last episode, you hear all about what the F. Lenz Foundation has done. I feel there’s a lot more to unpack from a psychological perspective that isn’t done. There’s a lot of coverage about how much Lenz accomplished, what he owned, who claimed he was enlightened, how he created success for others. There’s two episodes wholly devoted to his victims. This does not seem unbiased.

I unfortunately see a host who, from my point of view, is seeking to validate the value of a “guru”. They gloss over the abuse, the loss and only seem to...Read full review »
