It’s the good type of propaganda
This is a great story about how close we truly came to total nuclear annihilation in our lifetime. Yes, it’s propaganda meant to make Ronald Reagan look feckless (but so does pretty much any critical thinking piece on anything about Reagan), and may offend if you’re conservative or haven’t seen the effects of his terrible policy making. And yes, it’s Iheartradio clearly casting a die. But this is a fantastically produced serialized show, and Ed Helms is a great storyteller.

More reviews of SNAFU with Ed Helms
A good podcast requires a lot of elements and this one gets everything right. A fascinating topic, great research, energizing performance, suspense, and even humor in the face of world destruction. It's riviting, probably the best all around podcast I've listened to (and there are a lot).Read full review »

Fan of Ed’s work but absolutely love this historical based twist. Heard the Conan interview, subscriber straight away after first episode Ed. Keep it up

Source selection very limited and biased. Ruined the credibility of the f what could’ve been a very educational podcast.
