“It’s a podcast that looks back at one of history’s little known near misses—an interesting and nostalgic premise. It started great and then the story turned to being told from a filter of a limousine liberal. I’m an 80’s kid so I remember the cold war stuff. I guess I just would have preferred like, “this happened and could have resulted in this” rather than “Ronald Regan sucked and should never have won in ’80 or ’84”. If I want another political narrative, there are a million other podcasts I can choose from. I just wanted a story.”
