“I wasn’t familiar with Ryan before but I’d heard good things. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get through the first episode. It’s so repetitive, with so much rambling, and lots of tongue-smacking and gulping interrupting every sentence.
The sound quality isn’t great, but sadly it does nothing to cover the mouth noises that should’ve been edited out — and I know he “edits” because he detailed the first episode to cut in a segment about Joe Giudice. (At least five minutes saying “Joe lost some weight in prison” fifty different ways.)
So maybe this is good for the type of listener who isn’t very good at listening, needs everything repeated a lot, and doesn’t notice smacky mouth sounds. That’s not me.”
