“I love this podcast. I love recovery. I love AA. But this latest episode bothered me. Sponsors need to explain to sponsees that there are some things you do not share from the podium. These young people are welcome to AA but they are different in many ways from us older people, they are not as filtered. The episode titled Jeffery and Kelly is specifically what I am talking about. The older AAs do not want to hear about a girl getting “finger blasted”. That info might belong in a different program but not in AA. There are appropriate ways to talk about such things using appropriate language. Whoever this girls sponsor is I hope you can help her!!! And young lady, if you do not have a sponsor, find one! One who is over 40!”
