The first class is all about Sam laying the foundation for the rest of the semester. He does this on the first day by opening up about his life and time as a Professor. He also goes over some of the basic information about the course. Sam transitions to introducing some of the staff of SOC 119 and for the first time ever, Sam talks about the live stream in detail with the students. Finally, the first case study happens with three male student volunteers. One from Kuwait, another from Korea, and the third from New Jersey, USA.
