“This is a brilliant approach to exploring songs. I love hearing artists tell stories about their own music, and react to hearing it in pieces. It was great to hear YACHT say that their drum sound was disappointing when isolated. Hearing The Album Leaf walk down memory lane when listening to his song was a nice little experience.
I appreciate that it’s a short podcast. With so many other podcasts in the 45 - 90 minute range, it’s nice to have a concise, focused podcast. That being said, I’d be okay stretching it another 5 - 10 minutes if it meant some really insightful commentary on specific choices made by artists.”
