What many would consider a “schedule loss” turned into an explosive win for the Boston Celtics on Thursday against the Phoenix Suns. Boston, coming off of a five-game road trip from which the team arrived home at 5:30am the night before, dominated a Suns team that had its Big 3 of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal all available to play. That Big 3 wasn’t nearly enough, as the Celtics were unstoppable on offense and continued to play strong defense. Tonight we discuss how unbeatable the Celtics are when they’re ‘on,’ shutting down the national narrative that Boston can only win by shooting a ton of 3s, and the argument that the Celtics have not one but two guys who are playing like top-10 players in the NBA right now.
