Episode 359
Extremely disappointed with your interview of Prof. Kotlikoff. He came off as pompous and arrogant with respect to his view of financial planners. He made incorrect statements about the way they ask people how much they want to spend. I have never met a reputable planner who did not start off by asking what my actual expenses were and what I projected them to be in retirement. He Made it sound as if the economist way of thinking was novel. It is basic common financial sense. I was also disappointed that you did not call him on his misstatements and over generalizations.
