“I’m saying this as someone who binged this whole podcast—I want to like it more. Some episodes are stronger than others, and it really depends on how much the hosts know. The episode on flat earthers frustrated me because they just watched the main flat earth documentary on Netflix (which I feel like everyone who’s obsessed with cults has seen). There was no additional research. But then the episodes on SoulCycle and MLMs were great! I read Montell’s book, and I would suggest that over the podcast any day.”
