Swipe at Stay At Home Moms Unnecessary
I generally find this a light and easy podcast to listen to. However, in the LuLaRoe episode I was disappointed to hear the hosts refer to stay at home moms as generally locked out of the “dignified labour market”. Are the hosts suggesting that being a stay at home mom is not a dignified position in our society, as if they have somehow been relegated to this lower position in life simply because they are at home? It is a degrading way to speak about the important role of staying home to raise children; implying that working outside the home is in fact the only dignified type of labour. As is often the case in our modern society, pitting staying at home with children against going out into the workforce is simply low hanging fruit. Working outside the home or being a stay at home mom, let’s support both! Please do better.

The podcast is great! The hosts are funny and lighthearted. You can tell they know what they are talking about without being preachy. Would definitely recommend to friends. Can’t wait until season 2
