Do the hosts get off on not researching?
Like many I enjoyed many of the earlier episodes, but after the latest MomTok episode I’m done. It’s very clear how little research the hosts did into Mormonism, the cast and the impact the church of LDS has in the present. I knew more about these topics than the hosts did and all I did was scroll TikTok (news flash: you *can* tailor your FYP, it’s not just an app that pushes you “stuff from the algorithm” in some arbitrary way) and Reddit briefly. I get the feeling the hosts get off on being as ignorant about their topics as possible (see the Apple episode) so they can make jokes and roast aspects they don’t like or confuse them, instead of actual critical analysis.

I heard about this podcast from Amanda’s episode on ScamWow. I think the amount of information is good, given that it’s a 30ish minute show. If y’all ever want to do a deep dive on the megachurches and Herbalife, I’m here for it.
