#1 Board Game Award goes to. . .
. . . Spirit Island is hands down the best board game I know. (Except maybe TI4, if you’ve ever heard of it?) It has an incredible amount of replayability that rivals Amazon’s shopping catalogue. The game can be tailored to your exact comfort and ability level to provide the right amount of challenge (which for Matt puts it both at the top and bottom of his frustration ranking, I’d guess). The amount of choices you have offered to your at every turn is vast which gives you as players an incredible amount of ownership to How you want to beat up the little white invaders. Truly an incredible game that’s impeccably designed with more and more content still to come! PS - Love y’all Matt and Hunter. Thanks for an amazing show about a game I’ve only ever finished once since I started listening over two years ago and have listened to over 500 hours of your voices since. . . 😅

Fun to listen to. The first 10 episodes or so are very much theory crafting since the hosts have not yet played TI4, but applied what they knew from TI3. It gets more solid in later episodes.
