A Great Start!
I recently went on a binge of subscibing to history podcasts covering unconventional topics. After test listening to several, this was one of the few that hooked me in. Michael Annis has a gift for clearly summarizing things without dumbing them down. I really like the way the material mixes science history with mechanical explanations of rocketry technology. Compares favorably with The History of Rome Podcast for well constructed narration, sense of storytelling, and easy-listening production values. I look forward to more episodes.

It's fun to hear more detail about each of the space programs. Most documentaries just gloss over the intermediate steps, but this podcast tells about each step and all the interesting problems that had to be solved on the way. Really enjoying it!Read full review »
