Entertaining and Educational!
I first heard Matthew on The Art of Manliness podcast. I immediately ordered his book, Storyworthy, and begin listening to his podcast, Speak Up. I have now read the book and listened to the first 19 episodes of the podcast. The podcast is very entertaining, and Matt and Elysha do a great job of selecting stories to feature. Perhaps the most useful part of the podcast is the section immediately after the story where Matt and Elysha give feedback for how the storyteller could make the story better. It is clear from listening to the podcast that both Matt and Elysha really care for other people and each other. They genuinely want to help their listeners become better storytellers. I also enjoy the fact that there are no ads on the podcast. I would recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to improve as a storyteller or just be entertained.
