Their mission is “Redefining feminism in African Womxn’s views through the Celebration of African feminists in spaces that are inclusive, inter-sectional and Afrocentric.” Kisumu Feminist Society was legally registered in 2018 by a group of young women from Kisumu who saw the need to have an intersectional and inclusive feminist movement in the region.
