Joy encourages young and old to be themselves without the influence of mediocre pop culture. She encourages people to take a break from the electronic vortex and find truth and meaning through reading admirable literature, meaningful music, and platonic... yet chaste art. Joy challenges the listening audience to create beauty within their environment as they realize they are sojourning in the midst of dark and fallen world. My 20 year old son was in the same room when I first began listening to the podcast. His inquiring mind immediately asked who the speaker was. After listening ten minutes through, the lively discussions began. Joy, thank you for gifting us with a golden nugget within a chest full of podcasts.”
