Overly dramatized but entertaining
This story is a telling account of how younger people perceive these “influential” characters (Elizabeth Holmes, Adam Neumann) these days who are innately money hungry and desperate for their 15 minutes of fame. There is a difference between characteristics of “intelligence” and “influence” in people. Intelligence+influence does not equal “honesty”. The reporters did a good job but charging for subscription fee to hear the last two episodes, after the 4th episode for a story we’ve heard too often, and for an ending we all know too well, is laughable.

Wondery’s production value and hosts are always good, but the reporting of this one of left me wanting. The episodes are short and don’t dive too deep. It’s not a terrible binge listen, but you won’t learn anything new if you have even a passing knowledge of this story.

Also, hearing his fellow crook call...Read full review »
