61. Kela Rose: What If Nothing Is Wrong?
Listen now
Description
Giving our listeners the crossover they didn't know they needed! We invited Kela Rose, the fantastic host of the Skinny Dipping Podcast, to have an authentic, roundtable discussion on what we're all moving through, the patterns we're shifting, and learning how to deeply trust ourselves in each moment. If you are looking for a warm hug, a spiritual bestie to hear and validate your experiences, this conversation feels like that friend. Kela shares that she's going through a pretty large, confusing life transition that brings up a series of self-defeating questions that hosts Sam and Gina offer a loving lens to look at them through. This conversation will naturally make you pause to wonder what kind of questions you are constantly asking yourself. Are you asking yourself, "What am I supposed to do?" "What's wrong with me?" We chat about how these type of questions indicate that you're locked into a paradigm where you create fear and paralysis over an imagined "wrong" decision or constantly bring attention to what you perceive to be wrong or "bad” about yourself. This can often lead to attempts at overcorrection, which only leads straight back to the same patterns we are trying to heal. Healing is going slow, feeling curious, and invites us to release the force and tension we keep using to manage ourselves. Something else we also discuss in this conversation is being identified with being the "problem solver," and how this identity actually perpetuates the creation and existence of problems. If we are always feeling tied to solving something, and getting a hit of worth or dopamine through it, then we naturally and unconsciously have to continue creating problems and chaos to feel those rewards. Lastly, we dive into flow state, why it feels so good, and how to live from it rather than chasing it. In this episode, you'll also hear us reference our previous conversation on her podcast which was all about detoxing from the hustle culture and stress/adrenaline addiction. It was life-changing for people!
