Acknowledging scary thoughts

Description
Some thoughts are so awful that I find myself not wanting to acknowledge them for fear that they might be true. I don't want to deal with the horrible thought. Upon further inspection, it has never happened that a horribly scary thought has actually turned out to be accurate. By accepting the existence of the scary thought,  I release the energy.
