Ep 10. Advice for new cosplayers; get ready for the feels
Description
Get ready for the feels this week. Grimm and Lucky Bonez (aka Dan and Gab) give one piece of advice - each - to new cosplayers. When Dan first started cosplaying he dressed as Spider-Man and felt amazing living out his fantasy, but he didn't realise what it felt like for a kid to come up to you and actually think you were Spider-Man. What it felt like to know that you've just made their day because they've met their hero. His advice: when you have a little kid in front of you, it's worth all the time and energy you've put into your costume when you make their day. Gab's advice to younger generation cosplayers is; don't compare yourself to others. Don't get jealous or angry if someone has a better costume, just appreciate how awesome it is. Be supportive. Ask questions and realise it's ok to give up your cosplay secrets. Support each other. You're not in competition with each other.
Lucky and Grimm (Gab and Dan) saw 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' and they loved it. Tom Holland was excellent. Dan thinks this is the best Spider-Man movie he's ever seen. Michael Keaton nails the scary, bad guy; he's unsettling and creepy. You can see this as a stand-alone movie, if you haven't seen...
