Great show spoiled by the host
This show reviews a good mix of British sports and gets some good guests on board. As a BBC show, it is clearly well produced.  The reason I did not give it 5 stars was that the host can be very annoying. He must think he is special by asking some questions that are either out of line and that no one would answer. And then doing that "well of course I had to ask" smug response. No you don't Gary. So what could be a great show spoiled by the host.

Unlike the overbearing Paxman or Humphries, Gary Richardson's questions are fair and he is right to push for an answer; it's how journalism should work. Bear in mind he's not doorstepping the interviewees. An excellent show covering a range of sports in an insightful in depth manner.

Unfortunately the interviewer treats the interview as an exercise in manipulating the guest into answering questions in a way that creates a headline that he has already decided upon. It is transparent and tiresome.
