This initiative focuses on countering the emerging threat that drones, with their small size and high speed, pose to our protectees. As an expert in the technology--Waltman started using drones when they were known as multi-rotors and required pilots to build them from parts off the shelf--he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience about this issue, and tells us a little about his non-traditional path to becoming a Secret Service Special Agent.
