It’s okay
I have been listening to this podcast for about 7-8 months now. My main interest is investing and not politics. This podcast kinda blurs the line with some of the guests. I am a fiscally conservative guy so I see Dan’s point of view but Dan, it might be a good idea to keep your politics (and, your guests’ politics too) out of a so-called investing podcast. A few episodes ago, Dan invited some old hack who now lives in El Salvador (or, somewhere in South America). That guy came off as a know-it-all and was derogatory to other cultures. While America is a great country (I am an immigrant who came here 20+ years ago to go to grad school and paid my full tuition, fees and living expenses out of my own pocket) and I have done fairly well since, the general ignorance/arrogance of guys like his guest is very off-putting. Yes, politics affects the markets but not the politics of a person. Anyway, a generally decent podcast that’s not about investing (like, investing ideas, techniques, charts, technicals - it’s not AT ALL about any of these aspects of investing). This podcast mostly acts as a confirmation bias if one is already a fiscal conservative (which I am). Dan basically is a salesman who sells Stansbury newsletter. I felt compelled to write this review after Dan put Trish Regan’s nonsense (in my humble opinion) podcast on his show, who arrogantly, prematurely and falsely claimed that Trump won the 2020 elections. It’s quite ironic that the oldest modern democracy in the world doesn’t respect the will of its people (Trump didn’t win the popular vote in 2016). And no, I didn’t like Hillary either and voted against Trump (not for Biden). Now I am coming off as a dick! Thanks Dan!!!

Always love the insight from Porter. Porter has great contacts that appear on the show regularly. Oh and Buck’s pretty good as well;)

Yes, I know the commercials can become tiresome, however, there are many gems of info tucked away and some great tips on stocks, ways to avoid misfortune. Some of the guests are unique and offer superb insight into investing. Dan Ferris has picked some terrific values. Worth a listen.

The entire company is based on hype marketing. Always bragging about the one call they got right and never mention the nine times they threw the dart and missed the target. Not worth the price of admission (yes I know it’s a free podcast).
