Always an Aural Delight
More than just a great podcast, StarShipSofa is also perhaps the greatest Science Fiction magazine. The program includes top authors with poetry, flash and short fiction, all with an SF bent. But that's not all, J.J. Campanella's Science News Update is insightful analysis of the latest Science News. Amy H. Stugis, a genuine historian, offers a "History of the Genre" with fabulous aural articles about Science Fiction's progenitors and Tony Smith, the show's host, brings it all together with a cheery enthusiasm that's genuinely infectious!

I was put off when I saw the lengths of the shows, but was too interested not to give it at try. I picked a couple of my favorite authors and listened... and then I downloaded them all! The program is a Delphic oracle of information. Highly recommended.
