UC San Diego plays host to the Winter 2007 edition as veteran journalist Linda Schacht tours the Stuart Collection art installations and presents stories from throughout the UC system. Among those featured are UC Davis doctors in Sacramento using telemedicine to communicate with their rural counterparts; UC Berkeley space scientists building satellites that NASA will use to probe the auroras at the north and south poles; and UC San Diego electrical engineers creating a multi-camera, computer-vision system to monitor a key border crossing in Texas.
