From beneath the redwoods at UC Santa Cruz, anchor Linda Schacht hosts the spring edition of UCTV's premiere magazine program “State of Minds.” Featured are the UCSC ocean biologists who study the migration patterns of marine mammals, law students at UC Davis who volunteer their legal services to victims of domestic violence, medical students from UC San Diego who spend their off hours operating free health clinics, and a profile of the new Blum Center for Developing Economies at UC Berkeley that will focus on alleviating global poverty.
