“I’ve been listening to Stavvy’s world since the first episode when it debuted in June of 1984. Since then, world leaders have come and gone, wars have been fought, viral outbreaks have occurred, and all the way through, Stavvy’s world has had something to say that just puts it all in perspective. Being an African American, Stavvy provides unique insight into life in the hood and how to do time the right way when the man puts you in a cell for beating your old lady, or when your trap house gets raided. Every time I press play on a new episode, I immediately feel just a tiny amount of extra blood enter my manclit and by the end of the episode there’s a full throb and eventual gush of wonderful joyous fluid. I still pull out the old Betamax tapes of the early seasons, and relive the wonderful memories Stavvy has created. I wish my father was still alive so I could play him an episode of Stavvy’s world to let him know who really raised me.”
