Over-generalizing not helpful.
Maybe a symptom of overcompensation, but, while the host (rightly) seems to try to avoid generalizing about Republicans, MAGA, etc., time after time he appears to have no compunction against generalizing about Democrats. In the interview with “The New Yorker” reporter, for example, several times the host (a bit derisively) refers to “the Left,” “the liberals,” and so forth. I think a good rule of thumb is to steer clear of generalizing too much about people, regardless of one’s leaning, political or otherwise.
