Mrs. Vazquez Doing What She Does Best…EDUCATING
Michelle, you and Jackie definitely have teacher chemistry. The 5 points you share are valuable to all working relationships in the classroom, including the Gen Ed classroom. I love how you both always brought it back to the main focus in the classroom: the students. I agree with what you both shared, but a couple of things really stood out for me. First, mutual respect. Having a solid relationship based on respect creates a positive learning environment. I also appreciated the point you made about valuing each other’s strengths (and understanding our areas of need). With this understanding, all adults learn to work together as a cohesive team, complementing each other, sharing strengths, all for the benefit of the students. That’s POWER! Great job , so proud of you!
