I love how you both always brought it back to the main focus in the classroom: the students. I agree with what you both shared, but a couple of things really stood out for me. First, mutual respect. Having a solid relationship based on respect creates a positive learning environment. I also appreciated the point you made about valuing each other’s strengths (and understanding our areas of need).
