“Can’t believe I’ve only discovered this gem of a man in the last two years. Says it how it is. A reality contestant a “star”? Nope; he won’t buy it. Banter with his young Producers is fantastic. I just wish there was a Steve Allen TV show - but he’d probably never do it! Only disappointment is that last year the powers that be deciders to take away his paid for Podcasts; you now have to endure old news, ads and weather forecasts. Not great, does get me changing channels occasionally as the chit chat without these things was fantastic for insomniacs-who make up quite a bit of his audience. For me, he’s st his best just reading the papers (then I don’t have to do it), talking about his daily life, shopping, garden centres and his beloved Twickenham. He is also a member of the Magic Circle. Would give stars if not for the old news and ads.”
