“I got hooked into this series because it was about McNair. I’ve read some of the other reviews and I would disagree - you have to have differing viewpoints to the official report or you do not have a true crime genre story. Is there an over reliance on Hill and his wacko surmises? Sure. That’s what makes listening fun. Fortunately, Rohan is a solid journalist and can weave a story.
The latest episode - Hill and Rohan have stumbled onto the weakest part of the police report. There’s no proof a gun sale was made. Without that - there’s a question if Jenni actually had a gun. Rohan is a bit long winded so maybe he’ll improve as we go along.”
