Even handed look at the case
I read many of the reviews and don’t understand why people are turned off by this podcast. The premise isn’t to solve the case, but to present many different areas that should have been investigated further rather than wrap up a murder case in four days. Yes, there are a lot of interviews with friends and family speculating. Yes, there is skepticism towards the handling of the case. For those knocking the journalism/investigative reporting, I’m not sure what you were looking for. The author is very clear about whom he spoke with, whether he thought they had any biases, where one person’s stories conflicted with or others’ stories or with the actual evidence.

More reviews of Fall of a Titan
First episode focuses on a ex cop who we don’t know and really don’t care about. Just rumors and innuendo. Feels like it is PR for a disgraced ex cop.

The show is well produced, but it’s built on speculation, conjecture, assumption, and conspiracy. It’s a podcast in search of a compelling story. Even the title is misleading. Steve didn’t “fall”. He was doing just fine and was shot by his girlfriend. How is that a fall?

Incredibly detailed analysis of an ongoing mystery which might never (despite the great efforts here) be solved. No need to have any prior knowledge of the case or know anything about the NFL to enjoy and appreciate this.
