Fascinating story of a unique magazine
Viva magazine had a short life in the 1970s. It was an incredibly beautiful, smart and also silly publication, owned by Penthouse publisher Bob Guccione. I worked there briefly as a copy editor and I’m in awe of how accurate so much of this podcast is after almost 50 years and almost all of the principals dead or unwilling to talk.

The episodes are short with far too many ads (30 min show is actually about 18 min without ads). The story about the magazine itself is interesting but the show loses focus and rambles a bit.
