Description
What happens when you design a whole game around secrets? How do you make those secrets accessible but fair and challenging to discover? How to you pace out those discoveries to keep the player interested the whole way through? This week on the show I am joined by games journalist Jill Grodt of the Indie Informer to talk about a game that not only answers these questions but sets the standard for how to answer them. We are discussing the indie game Tunic, a wonderful action adventure game from solo game developer Andrew Shouldice and the Tunic Team. Jill and I break down this incredible game over 2 hours and still barely scratch the surface of what it has to offer. I don't normally say this in the episode description but this game is VERY much worth playing before you listen to this episode.
