Truthful listen
I was very impressed with the episode on the Sewing Justice Sewing Academy and the horrible response of quilters for the National Quilt Museum’s block of the month that was a really powerful block. Thank you for speaking the truth of the hurtfulness of the negative responses. As a white quilter I have been very disappointed in the negative way white quilters have treated non mainstream white norm people and this one made this shy, non confrontational white quilter speak out and learn about white fragility and how my voice is important to support poc. Thank you for speaking so clearly, thoughtfully, and thoroughly about this issue. Can’t wait to move on to more episodes.
