Stitching Truth to Power
Moved to lots to lots of feelings listening to this episode. I’m a white (53 yo) quilter and my cousin (white 63 yo sewist) dm-ed me about this episode. I’m a believer in the immensely damaging power of white fragility and still feel my head explode at the responses to this—as you say—mild statement about the road to justice. I will share this widely, in my own work to bring white people to some consciousness about the impact of their actions and words. Thank you for sharing this and your own experience. I will take action—and thank you as well for lining up action opportunities so accessibly.
