A Whole New World
When I first returned to sewing, I couldn’t really find a collective of black makers nor media content to encourage me to continue my creative journey. Stitch Please is the first podcast that I found that features various artists and sewists of color. From Bonita and Chioma to the whole Black Women Stitch members, I have appreciated being introduced to and acquainted with so many black sewing enthusiasts. Your podcast series and social media platforms really does reflect the principles of the BLM movement. Thanks for sharing your platform and introducing me to so many resources that are relevant to me as a black woman.

More reviews of Stitch Please
Nikki G posted about this podcast on her insta and I really just loved the name Stitch Please. I know anyone with that humor is family, so I started with the Joann scam episode…and now I’m addicted.
