“I want to love this podcast so bad!! I love Allie, she was great on insight, but something is seriously up with her voice in this podcast.
There are moments that she sounds normal but inevitably every single sentence ends with a drawn out last word, full of vocal fry, and almost slurry. I’m not making a joke when I say it sounds like someone who has a neurological problem, or someone on prescription medication.
1.5x speed helps a little, but it was still too annoying to listen to.
I sadly stop episodes just a couple of minutes in.
About 3 episodes ago, oniko wrote me back on Facebook to say they’ve heard the feedback and Allie will be speaking more normally, but so far, no change.
Americans can understand an Aussie accent, please don’t try to make it “clearer”, its making the podcast unbearable.”
