Basketball, baseball, football, and soccer took up most of his high school career. His grandfather would tell him “watching you is like going to the ballet. Such grace.” But, working with the nationally ranked xcaliber and lancer dancer team he found his love for the arts. It started with dance, participating with gorgeous form in Polynesian traditional dances, as well as hip hop and the footwork movement (jerking, c-walk, shuffling). It wasn’t until he landed in Pittsburgh, PA that he truly blossomed as an artist, expanding to multiple mediums. Painting on canvas, dancing in music videos, and learning graphic design are some examples that show his wide variety of skill sets. After graduating from Point Park University with a creative writing degree, he decided to combine his two worlds and form the business @followthetrees_ridethevibe A creative and athletic consulting company in which artists and athletes are committed to changing the world through their passions. Collaborating with fantastic artists all over the nation, he hopes to continue the business and change the idea of what humans can and should be doing. To him, art and athletic are one in the same and can benefit both mentally and physically from cross training. With big plans for 2020, it’s exciting to see what he has coming.
