“Usually the stories are good, but often the reader isn’t like a ‘professional’ voice actor, with an animated and engaging delivery, or quality mic. Then the show tries to make up for this with too many bells and whistles - gratuitous effects, lots of music, sound clip inserts, etc that make the story too busy and disjointed. Tone it back 75% and let the story do the work please.”
