Bite size story telling fun.
I am at a level of learning Spanish where I can read and understand more than I can speak. I know lots of words, but stringing them together to make understandable sentences is challenging or is that just nerves and the fear of not making sense. I have listened to the first few chapters of this podcast story and found it to be pitched at just the right level of understanding with a few unknowns chucked in for good measure. The small 2 to 3 minute segments are a great way to understand tempo, be it a touch slower than native, and flow of sentences, without being overwhelming. I may not understand every word, but repeated listening, following the transcript and learning the glossary words, helps you to follow the story. I do love that the transcript and the glossary are right there in the show notes, makes it much easier than switching to a webpage and back to podcast app repeatedly. Thanks to this podcast, Sofia and Olly, it has reignited my yearning for learning Spanish, which to be honest had dropped to me occasionally loading up Duolingo while homeschooling the little one. I am looking forward to where the story takes us and how they use Instagram to draw us more into the story.

So it is a great way to study Spanish without noticing you are studying. It is a fun story and the story...Read full review »

Algo para hacer todos los días, divertido y ameno. También es una idea estupenda que tengan la...Read full review »
