“Olly Richards produces lots of useful materials for learners - the first book I read in Spanish was his collection of short stories for intermediate learnings which was a big breakthrough for me in my Spanish learning. I heard about this podcast through his newsletter for intermediate Spanish learners (which has given me loads of great tips about HOW TO LEARN!). I love this podcast because it’s at the perfect level which Olly suggests you need to improve - just above my current level so I can understand most of it and I’m not put off by the difficulty, but there is still new vocab and structures to learn. The fact it has a written word for word transcript which is so easily accessible is great too as it is rare to find that included for free. It’s only a few minutes long so it’s perfect to listen to repeatedly before reading the transcript and you definitely gain more understanding with each listen. I’d really recommend this for learners trying to improve listening skills...it does work!”
