“I tried listening to the first chapter and couldn’t stomach the constant commentating! It sounds like she’s explaining everything to children, rather than reading to adults. I enjoyed her voice while reading a few sentences at a time, but her constant interruption is just too much. When you’re listening to great literature, it’s annoying to constantly hear the host stop and insert her interpretation. I’m an adult and can figure out the meaning within the context. Not for me, sorry,”
