Love this podcast!
Thank you, Julie Hartman for introducing me to this wonderful podcast. For those of us who somehow didn’t read the classics through a college education, this is just so appreciated. I am hungry for knowledge in all classics, music, religion - a hunger somehow that missed me as a young girl. Listening to your voice reading is so relaxing yet not too relaxing! The explanations you offer about the characters, the culture of the day and the story line are just perfect! Sorry for long rant but I am so thankful you are offering this podcast!

More reviews of Storytime for Grownups
I have looking forward to this podcast for awhile and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s nice to take a break listen to classic story being read by someone who is informed about the period and helps you the listener understand the language. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Picked this up at episode 16. Love the reading and the narration. Can’t wait for more.

This intro into an author I haven’t read before has got me interested in literature again. I had just been reading and listening to my personal favorites, but this and the family has me looking at classics again. Thanks
