Parasite Episode
I went into listening to this podcast hoping to find an review with depth on the film Parasite. I had just finished watching it and wanted to know what other people thought. This podcast seemed to gloss over many details and jump back and forth on scenes. The part that really took me back was when one person mentioned that they were thrown off that the film never had a disease or outbreak judging by the title. What they failed to understand was that the film is heavily based around metaphors even one of the main characters consistently points out constant metaphors in their life. I believe it’s called Parasite because the poor family takes over being the staff for the rich family. They slowly make their way in growing in size until all four of them are working under the same roof. You can even see a dramatic metaphor when they are scattering out of the Park house back to their home in the rain without any coats. They run into alleys and even at one point what looked like a bridge. It seemed to symbolize how they were vermin feeding off of what the Park’s left behind (food, alcohol etc). Another thing that bummed me out was the complete overlook on the Native American metaphor which is kind of ironic. It showcases how cultures are appropriated and dismissed as a hobby, game or style. In some cases just being outright ignored. I guess my point overall is that I wish the podcast went more in depth on the details and metaphors and was more organized. I want to say this is just my opinion and everyone has their own. I plan to listen to the podcast a couple more times as I don’t want to give up over one episode.

This cast is great for the casual horror fan or the Master gore fest enthusiast. Also gave me one of the best analogies I've ever heard in a fart in the pants of America. Keep doing satans work boys.Read full review »

These guys consistently crack me up - they seem to always be having a good time and draw the listener in like a lifelong friend. I like that they often choose unconventional movies to review and I respect their takes even if I don’t always agree with them. This is by far my favourite podcast,...Read full review »
