Description
I had no idea growing up that so many of the kids and people I later grew up to be friends with in High School had experienced so much racism.
I honestly did not. I saw it , but wasn't ever affected like them till I moved to the good ole South.
I guess my families "financial and social class" made people treat us differently.
I also am sorry to hear that it seems its gotten much worse since me leaving there in 2001 when we moved to Baltimore where my two youngest kids were born and where my kids who are adults did most of their growing up.
Even we as black people are learning more and can learn more.
Racism is likely to never end, but we definitely have to have more order, and laws to protect us from it!
