Toby Ball is too biased to enjoy the show
TLDR: dude is too full of himself to enjoy the content he creates I head about this show thanks to the STDWYTK guys. The episode introducing this host and his podcast was not one of my favorites because the host wastes the episode and talks only about himself and not the subject matter. I was interested in the podcast because of the Betty and Barney Hill content, not his personal stories and opinions on the matter. Makes sense for an Aaron Mahnke protege. Pseudo philosophical self love. I don’t understand why he makes this podcast when he interjects here and there about why he doesn’t believe it. What’s the point. The STDWYTK guys explore the topic at hand and offer interesting dialogue about it, but don’t come off as biased and condescending. Toby Ball does. I feel like Toby Ball is the kind of guy you start talking to at a party, but he stares at his phone the entire conversation and throws in a few intellectual digs at you before heading back to the snack table to find someone else to talk about himself to. Production of this podcast is good. It gets a bit hard to differentiate between the actors and the actual recordings. I’d say just pick one or the other and stick with it. Don’t switch between the two.
