Maybe somewhat interesting, but…
This seemed like it could be a somewhat interesting podcast, but I couldn’t get over the narrator’s monotone voice. The story also lacks originality from the start… it’s pretty much an audio-devoid mashup between ‘Old Gods of Appalachia’ and ‘Bridgewater’. It seems like the writer did zero research on WV’s regional dialect and lingo, as well, which creates a painfully obvious mismatch between the story’s setting and characters. Next.

This is such an interesting story. I feel like a lot of crimes and corruption go unreported in small towns, and swept under the rug.
