In May of 2016, police officers in West Hollywood, California, would respond to calls regarding a missing persons report. Upon arrival at a suspect's address, they would find the front door barricaded from the inside, only to discover an even more gruesome scene once they had made their way in. Blood all over the floor and the walls, bits of flesh and muscle scattered in and around the apartment, and the grizzly sight of a mutilated body under a blanket, with the killer sitting right beside.
